What if we told you weight loss could be as simple as watching a video three times a week, and falling asleep to a relaxing hypnosis CD every night? Well, with Your Slim Vision (YSV), it is!
YSV works on the principles of Neuro Linguistic Programming, or NLP. NLP is self-hypnosis. Your Slim Vision was developed in collaboration with Laura King, a Certified Hypnotist, Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming. She is a Life Coach and founder of Summit Hypnosis Centers with over thirty years of training and experience.
So does NLP sound like magic? It's not (though sometimes it works that way!). Its goal is to change a behavior through the sheer power of suggestion. When you're in a hypnotic state, you can easily make positive changes because your subconscious mind is more open to suggestions for change.
This means a lot for you and for your weight loss goals. For instance, if your subconscious mind believes that you are an overweight person who is destined to have little will power and fight with food forever. If you believe that pizza is good and delicious and something you need to fight mightily to avoid, that is exactly what it will always be.
Try as you might to use your conscious mind to alter or eradicate that thought, nothing changes. Nothing at all. It's not enough to just want to change.
Until the underlying thought or belief in your subconscious mind is changed, your ongoing patterns will run your life. Change the subconscious thoughts and then you will change your life.
Its even been proven in a scientific study that:
...examined the effect of adding hypnosis to a behavioral weight-management program on short- and long-term weight change. One hundred nine subjects, who ranged in age from 17 to 67, completed a behavioral treatment either with or without the addition of hypnosis. At the end of the 9-week program, both interventions resulted in significant weight reduction. However, at the 8-month and 2-year follow-ups, the hypnosis clients showed significant weight loss, while those in the behavioral treatment exhibited little further change. More of the subjects who used hypnosis also achieved and maintained personal weight goals.1
